Full-Stack Web Developer

Join an exciting team building breakthrough, leading-edge medical devices designed to improve the quality of people’s lives. Atlas5D’s office is in the heart of Cambridge’s Kendall Square, the center of Boston’s vibrant startup hub. As a Full-Stack Web Developer at Atlas5D, you will specialize in building out and scaling our responsive, real-time medical grade web interfaces as we scale to more users. You will play a key role in helping Atlas5D build next-generation web applications for mobility sensors and patient health.

Responsibilities

  • Build scalable interactive real-time web applications.
  • Design and implement a scalable server infrastructure on AWS.
  • Design and implement real-time, secure client-server data connections.
  • Design and implement new visualization tools.
  • Advance industry-best security to protect patient privacy and dignity.
  • API development, including building external APIs consumed by third-parties.

Minimum qualifications

  • 5 years of experience developing and deploying responsive web applications on AWS.
  • Experience in front-end web development including Javascript.
  • Experience with server-side web frameworks such as Node.js, Express, and socket.io.
  • Familiarity with database data structures and efficient data processing methods, particularly in DynamoDB.
  • Experience with front-end application frameworks such as React.

 

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with containerization, e.g. Docker.
  • Background in real-time communication tools such as AWS CloudWatch, and AWS IoT.
  • Familiarity with D3.js and/or similar visualization libraries.
  • Experience profiling and optimizing front end systems.
  • Knowledge of AWS, load balancing, obfuscation, and/or encryption.
